Thank you for visiting the Royal Air Forces Association Yorkshire (Eastern) Realm Web Site, we hope you enjoy your tour round the site. To visit the various sections of the site, please use the 'buttons' on the left of your screen, where you will also find a very useful 'Links' section.

Since the Eastern Region Committee no longer meets the Hull Branch has decided to keep the web site as a means of contact between the branches so if anyone has any ideas, please get in touch with the coordinator Ian Russell, so that the ideas can be taken on board. We believe that the aim of the site is to promote Friendship, Help and Support between the branches.

With a 'Branch News' page now available, we do need to take advantage of the facility, and ask that Branches send reports of their events again to Ian Russell in the first instance. The addition of photographs is also a step forward. Again if you have any ideas on how to make the site more interesting, please get in touch.

The Yorkshire (Eastern) Realm is but a small element of the wider Association and covers a large geographical area from Whitby in the North to Pontefract in West Yorkshire. The total number of Branches is 10, all of which vary in capacity with some having Club facilities. If you wish to contact one of our Branches, please refer to the Branch News page.

New members are always welcome into the Association, and we hope that as well as Ex RAF and RAF personnel, we would ask that you encourage those outside the Service to become Branch Associates, as long as they 'support the ethos, aims and activities of the Association'. Those new members from outside the RAF family, would not of course be eligible for Welfare Benefits, but would enjoy full membership rights.
